Been following us for a while but yet to get involved? Now is your chance…

The ICAT open day is your opportunity to experience the outstanding teaching and ethos of this exciting school for FREE. Running from 10am-1pm on Sunday June 18th and taking place concurrently at both our Manchester and London schools, the open day provides a practical introduction to our 2 year part time professional actor training course. Additionally this is an opportunity to meet staff and ask questions, learn about our approach and the chance to audition for the course.

The morning will begin with a movement session and introduction to LABAN for actors followed by a workshop on the principles of action and impulse, pioneered by international theatre director and ICAT course adviser Mike Alfreds. Both sessions will be led by ICAT practitioners and there will be a Q and A about the courses and opportunities we offer to follow.

AUDITION FOR OUR 2 YEAR PART TIME PROFESSIONAL ACTOR TRAINING COURSE

The Independent Centre for Actor Training is changing the face of actor training; with fees at a fraction of the cost of full time drama school, some of the country’s best loved actors amongst our teaching staff and graduates going on to gain excellent representation and work across stage and screen.

Our two year part time professional actor training course offers the flexibility and affordability of a part time commitment to those with a full time mentality.

Our ethos is “train with those who do this for a living” employing only regularly working actors, directors and movement and vocal coaches on our staff base to provide practical, rigorous and boutique training.

Our next auditions are held on Sunday June 18th from 2pm onwards. Actors are asked to prepare a 2 minute monologue and pay £30 per place.
