Freelance professional actress and qualified acting coach, Prue specializes at ICAT in teaching the Sanford Meisner Approach to Acting – notably the fundamental skill of Repetition.

Educated at the Universities of Cambridge (PGCE) and Durham (PhD), Prue’s formal training as an actress began in the 1990s in Paris, where she gained first prize in the modern drama section of the Prix Supérieur de la Scène Française. Having returned to England, Prue trained at East 15 and subsequently specialized in the Meisner Technique, completing two-year conservatory courses with both Tom Radcliffe of The Actors Temple and Scott Williams of The Impulse Company, finally qualifying with Larry Silverberg as a Teacher of the Meisner Approach to Acting in 2010.

Currently represented by Stirling Management, Prue now works in TV, film, radio and theatre from bases in Manchester and London. Her stage credits include parts as varied as Anfisa in Three Sisters and Lizzie Borden and Marilyn Monroe in Strange Bedfellows. Prue has also worked on both feature and short films at home and abroad, notably in Paris, Berlin, Poland and Florida.
